We always start with trick-or-treating on main. It's tradition and I have to say that we've always had a great experience and that the businesses and churches in town really do a great job. It seems to get better each year and regardless of the weather the business and church people make the effort for the community children to be out there handing out candy.
After main street we go to several churches for their trunk-or-treat, the Baptist church on 109 usually has hot dogs and real food and fun for the kids, the Nazarene church is awesome and the Methodist across the street from the library. We have a couple neighborhoods that we have taken the kids to since our oldest was trick-or-treating and we always end at a church sponsored party in the subdivision down from the high school.
Thank you so much to the businesses, the churches and the local people in the community that provide a safe and wonderful Halloween experience for my children. It is greatly appreciated!!!

We trick-or-treat at family houses and at 2 Trunk or Treats. We sometimes to the Trick or Treat on Main Street, but some years there is not much participation from businesses so it can be a flop.

Antioch Baptist Church at 135 Cook Road will be having a huge Fall Festival on the 24th this year beginning at noon. We will have inflatables, face painting, games, prizes, cake walk, cornhole tournament, horseshoe tournament, popcorn/cotton candy, praise music and much more! The event will be free, but it has yet TBD if there will be a charge for the tournaments and cake walk (which will be nominal if there is a fee). We will have a wonderful time of fun and fellowship!
ABC will also be at the Trick-or-Treating on Main Street (which begins at 5 p.m. on Halloween).
