Civil War
For those of you who heard the "booms" on April 25, 2008, they were from a Civil War reenactment camp set up in Richland Park. There were 10 school buses there that brought elementary-school students from Portland, Westmoreland, Gallatin, and Goodlettsville. The reenactment camp was put on by the 46th Tennessee Volunteer Infantry. Here is a link to their web site: http://46thtn.homestead.com/

My son is in 4th grade at Wiseman. He loved the re-enactments. Came home sun-burned, and full of lots of exciting and interesting facts.
