Thank You to The Portland Leader.! Sorry for your troubles with the storm. And Thank God someone was reading.
My Chad Howard is out of jail and I got to hear the most beautifull sound tonight, his voice.
There are really angels out there.!!!!

I wish both papers would have a little more news about things other than JUST local news. Filler is nice sometimes as well as things that happen in Nashville or around the Portland area. I for one would read either paper more if there was more in it than what the council held a meeting over or what street is closing down or whether we should move city hall or not. You could argue that's what the TV and radio is for but if you miss it, it's gone, when it's in print you can read it whenever you have the time.

The Leader was already out before the storm hit. I have to agree the Portland Leader has stepped up their game. I just wish they would get rid of some the filler stuff in there paper and give more attention to local news.

Best wishes to the Leader. Sorry for your damage. I bought your paper this week....the first in a long time. I have a subscription to the Progressive, but will not renew.

Best wishes to The Portland Leader in recovering from this tragedy and getting next week's issue out on time.

Also, great storm coverage in The Progressive this week.

I hear there has been quite a bit of damage in our area from high winds, there are several homes on fowler ford just off south russell that had trees blown onto their homes, wood fences down like dominos, it's a mess down there.

Good luck to all that experienced damage, hope you're back to new quickly.
