Did it really matter? Portland didn't have a prayer to beat Perry. They couldn't stop Blue Devil Pride, they couldn't stop the coach they ran out of town.....P-town...enjoy a crappy season!!!!!

Here's my upcoming prediction: Station Camp 48 Ptown 6

well coach perry came to town and and took the beaver to school. even when this boob is behind 30+ he wont let the other kids play. folks this is the supreme definition of insanity. did anybody else see the play where the mt juliet quarterback with his hand moving forward legally grounded the ball? the beaver was on the sidelines crying like a girl because they wouldnt rule it a fumble. it was a legal play. if the beaver doesnt know the rules, how is he even qualified to coach???????

we leave in the 3rd quarter because the coach cant come up with a plan to win.he lacks the knowledge to mix it up and change the game plan and have a back-up of other players. this guy couldnt coach his way outta' a paper sack.

THIS WILL BE MY LAST TIME GETTING ON THIS BLOG, BECAUSE IT EVIDENTALLY IS FOR "IDIOTS ONLY"
FOR YOUR INFORMATION, "MR. DIGMAN", I HAVE PLAYED
FOOTBALL SINCE I WAS 6 YRS OLD. I HAVE GREAT
PARENTS THAT TAUGHT ME GREAT WORK ETHICS AND I TRY AND APPLY THEM IN EVERY SPORT I PLAY (PHS FB AND BASEBALL) NO, THE QB CLUB DIDN'T HAND PICK ME.. I EARNED MY SPOT AND HAVE THE STATS TO PROVE IT . YES, I AM SOPH., BUT YOU PEOPLE NEED TO GET OVER IT AND ACT LIKE A REAL FAN AND ADULT..
WE HAVE GREAT COACHES AND WE ARE ALL A REALLY CLOSE TEAM (ALL 4 CLASSES). WE KNOW PEOLPLE ARE MAD, BUT WE ARE SMALL IN SIZE AND NUMBERS, BUT WE ARE GETTING BETTER AND WE STILL HAVE 7 GAMES LEFT.. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT NOT YOUR BAD ATTITUDE... WE DON'T NEED FANS LIKE U ANYWAY...
YOU MUST NOT HAVE CHRISTIAN VALUES OR U WOULDN'T BE RUNNING YOUR MOUTH LIKE THAT AND INVOLVING THE QB CLUB .. YOU MUST BE ONE OF THOSE FANS THAT LEAVE EVERY GAME IN THE 3RD QUARTER.. GET A LIFE..
SIGNING OFF FOR GOOD....

This is EXACTLY what I was trying to avoid when I deleted the thread!

When did I even mention the time of night? I never said anything specific about the accident because I didn't know many details about time, speed,ect...you need to learn to fully read a post before you jump the gun on your backfiring. And I was not talking to the family, I was making a simple observation..Something I do not understand is why everyone wants to make all these accusations on me and what I said and what I do when they are sitting there saying things that aren't even relevant to what is even beinig talked about or that they have no knowledge of either. For someone who is grieving for a family member, you sure are spending too much time worrying about complete strangers and their opinions..if a tragedy hit my family, i certainly wouldn't be caring what a bunch of people on some small town blog were talking about...seems like I am not the one with time on my hands, miss creekmore

This blog is getting way out of control!!!

Just what time of night was it? I wonder if you even know? Just because life flight and the ambulences didn't arrive until late and the last child didn't arrive at the hospital until after midnight does not mean that they were out in all hours of the night. The wreck actually happened around 9:00 or very shortly after. The curfew was 10:00 pm. Therefore, they were not out at all hours of the night.Speed was not a factor in this wreck as has been confirmed by the THP.I am not quite sure where you seem to be getting your information from but if I were you I would start trying to find another source. And for your statement about not bashing anyone,Why is it that almost everyone else has posted a blog with the same feelings that I have. This is why many people do not get on sites like these because so many people who are not there, don't have reliable sources, and have no clue about the issues that are posted like to get on and comment because they think they know.Maybe it is because this is a small town and they have nothing better to do with their time.If you want people to learn from lifes unexpected times then try doing something like creating a support group for the teenagers affected with all the spare time you seem to have. The way you are trying to make a point has not helped anyone but only offended the family. I was once told it is better to have kept quite and look like an idiot than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

SHAME ON THE PEOPLE IN PORTLAND THAT ARE RUNNING
THEIR MOUTHS ABOUT OUR "FOOTBALL COACHES AND TEAM". FIRST, AND FOREMOST, WHY DO YOU THINK ROGER PERRY BAILED OUT WHEN HE DID? WHY DO YOU THINK COACH KINGSTON BAILED OUT IN BASKETBALL WHEN HE DID? BECAUSE THEY KNEW WHAT WAS COMING AND IT DIDN'T LOOK PRETTY... OUR COACHES ARE DOING THE BEST THEY CAN WITH WHAT THEY HAVE TO WORK WITH, AND OUR TEAM IS GROWING AND IMPROVING EVERY WEEK.. YES, WE HAVE SEVERAL "SOPHOMORES" STARTING AND PLAYING ALOT, MINE BEING ONE OF THEM, BUT, EVERY PLAYER ON THE TEAM HAS TO WORK FOR THEIR SPOT (CHECK THE LOCAL PAPERS FOR PHS STATS), THEY ARE NOT "HAND-PICKED", AND
EVERYONE OF THOSE STARTING "SOPH." HAVE WORKED HARD, AS WELL AS THE JRS. AND SRS. THAT START... THESE YOUNG MEN AND COACHES COULD HAVE HUNG THEIR HEADS DOWN AFTER WK ONE AGAINST WH, BUT INSTEAD, THEY KEEP WORKING AND FOCUSING ON THE NEXT GAME AND THEY GO OUT EVERY FRI. AND PLAY THEIR HEARTS OUT. NO, WE'RE NOT WINNING GAMES RIGHT NOW, BUT, THE PLAYERS WORK ETHICS AND THE COACHES DEDICATION AND LONG HOURS ARE PAYING OFF EACH WEEK AS THEY IMPROVE.. SOME OF YOU MAY NOT NOTICE HOW MUCH THEY HAVE IMPROVED, BECAUSE YOU ARE GETTING UP AND "LEAVING THE GAME" IN THE 3RD QUARTER.....MOST OF YOU ARE ALUMNI OR YOUR CHILDREN WERE ONCE A PANTHER.. THINK ABOUT HOW THE PLAYERS FEEL SEEING YOU LEAVE>>> IF YOU HAVE
SOMETHING TO SAY, YOU NEED TO RAISE YOUR HAND UP AND PLACE IT ACROSS YOUR MOUTH.. IF YOU WERE A TRUE "PANTHER FAN", YOU WOULD SUPPORT THE TEAM WIN OR LOSE.... "GO PANTHERS"

Mrs. Creekmore..

Despite all your personal attacks, I get the feeling you did not read my posts correctly because just as you stated at the end of your blog entry, is the exact same thing I was saying. I said i hope that families tell their children laws about how many people are allowed in the car, what time of night to be driving, seatbelts, speeding, ect. But some kids don't think that it could happen to them, and I said I hope that this horrible situation is an eye opener for other teens...I have never blamed anyone for this accident in any of my statements..I have only put forth the effort to say that I hope that from this family's loss, someone else's live could be saved. I am so sorry that you took my posts so negative and so personal, but I can promise you that nothing I have said was ever bashing this child, nor this mother. I feel terrible that everyone has taken that way...but if you re-read my post with hopefully the right presepective I had hoped to get across, hopefully you will see I did not mean any harm by a single word.

As an ADULT and a FAMILY MEMBER let me just say that not one single thing on this website has been true. Let me clarify for you what is actually the truth since even some adults don't know when it is best to keep their mouth shut. They did not sneek out of the house that night. Their mother knew they were going to the drive-in. I mean who sneeks out of the house at 7:30 to go to the drive-in. If IGNORANT people would think before they speak that would not even come out of your mouth because it doesn't even make since. What actually happen was someone at the drive-in wanted to go home because they were cold and the person they were there with would not leave so she asked the driver for a ride home. So, being the nice person that she is she said yes. Maybe it was not a good idea, but Jessica I think that you need to learn the law before you start preaching it. The law says no one under the age of twelve can be in the back of a pick-up truck. For your information, there was no one under the age of twelve in the vehicle. Kids will be kids. At some point in every child's life they make a decision that they regret. Sometimes it results in a tragic event such as this one and sometimes we are fortunate enough that it doesn't. Jessica, for you to even think that we can control every move and every decision of every child is just ridiculous. Life is full of many changes and as a Christian I believe that everyone has their calling. There is nothing that can change it. When it is your time, then you will go however he wants you to come. It is a time that will only make people stronger. Why is it always people have something to say when it is a YOUNG driver? No one ever seems to mention all the wrecks that involve older drivers. Is it okay to assume with them it was just an accident, because they SUPPOSEDELY have so much experience. Accidents happen and unfortunately there are always people around like Jessica that don't know when it is time to pray for the people affected, or open thier mouth and act like an idiot. JESSICA, I HOPE THAT IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN, THIS NEVER HAPPENS TO YOUR CHILDREN. AND THEY HAVE TO BE IN THE POSITION THAT YOU ARE DOWNING OTHERS FOR. BUT IF THAT DAY COMES AND YOU HAVE TO PUT YOUR FOOT IN YOUR MOUTH, I WILL PRAY FOR YOU INSTEAD OF PUT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY DOWN IN THIER TIME OF NEED. Because no matter what we teach our children or how much we guide them the right way, when they are out with friends and have to make a decision, it might not be the one we wanted them to make. It might be one that will change their life forever.
