Give it up for Corey

Brewer repeats
Repeat national champ, Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA tournament, and an all-around great guy. Let's hear it for Corey, his family, and those people here in Portland who supported him and contributed to his success. (Above is a screenshot of the Yahoo! Sports page following the Florida victory.)

Yeah, me and digman agree. Vols no good. Even though Gators lost to UT several times, me is smart, and I don't like liberals. Bon Jovi hates war, he must be a liberal, which me hate.

Sheryl Crow no smart. Me is. That's why I live in Portland with my hero digman.

Corey,

My family and I are so proud of you and all your accomplishments! Even though it's a little hard for a Green Wave to give kudos to a Panther (ha!), you deserve it!! Best of luck in all your future endeavors; you have made not only Portland proud, but all of your surrounding neighbors!

I didn't get to make it to your celebration, but hope to see you at the next hometown event!!

Way to go Corey and all the Florida Gators!! I never was much on basketball until my oldest daughter started to play for the Portland Dream Team. She kept asking to go and watch the Panthers, and especially Corey, play basketball. He had referred some of their games and to a 4th grade little girl Corey was a giant. After attending a basketball game at Portland High my wife and I were hooked as well. Corey you were a class act then as you are everytime I see you on TV. You took time to sign autographs for all the kids after the games. We are all so happy for you and hope that life treats you as well as you have treated all those around you all these years. Good luck in whatever paths you choose, we make it a point to see all the televised games for the Gators and I am sure we can find time to watch an NBA team as well!

I wish I had been in Portland to enjoy it.

I had no chance to watch this game here in China. I was hoping for a chance to sneak home for a few minutes but work got too crazy. I don't even know if the game was playing on the national sports channel, but they do play the NBA finals and the Super Bowl. I'm hoping I'll be able to catch highlights on iTunes.

Corey has now gone international. You do a search for "Bu Lu Er" (or Bu Lu Are) in Chinese characters and you get a whole page of results.
