Gallatin News-Examiner
Just out of curiosity, what does everyone think of the new format of the Gallatin News-Examiner? We've now had three issues under the new format, and I'd like to hear people's reactions.

I absolutely love it! It is so much easier to handle. This new format is like anything new...it can take some getting used to.

I like the smaller more readable format, however it seems to have lost a lot of information. I would like to see it keep the sections just in the smaller spread. Thanks!

I STOPPED buy the paper because of the new format. I hate it.

The new format is not really a problem for most younger readers. The problems that I have heard about are from the older readers of the paper and many have expressed concern. I have even had a few older folks say that when their subscription expires,they will not be renewing. I don't know if this is due to the fact that they don't really care for change or if it is harder for them to find what they are looking for.

I didn't think I would like it at first but after a few issues, I find it easier to read at my desk. I am still adapting to the format. I have to basically look for any news that might be of any interest to the City of Portland & this paper is better suited to have on my desk & not get in my way!
