Gas Prices

gaspump.jpg

I drove from Memphis back to Portland this morning. A lot of gas stations in Memphis and all along I-40 have regular gas at around $2.56 per gallon. Here is Portland, it's still around $2.75 to $2.77.

The stations in Portland had no problem whatsoever raising prices.

Seems like we are being ripped off here in Portland .....

At hwy 70 and 109 gas last weekend was 2.07$
here in Portland it was $2.25, so we are being ripped off or gased off.....

I haven't read in any of the local Newspapers that Natural Gas prices are going up in any place except Portland. Or did I miss it???

I went to Gatlinburg this past weekend and the same is true in that area. Gas prices ranged in the $2.60 - $2.70 range all until you got to about Crossville.
