City Book Read
We are pleased to announce the Elmer Hinton Memorial Library's first City Book Read! Our book for 2005 is Rocket Boys (a.k.a. October Sky).

I hope that the entire City participates in this. It is very exciting. I will be purchasing my book this week. Although I am not an avid reader, I am going to try my best to finish this book & pass it on to other members in my family.

This is a really neat book. I hope everyone reads it -- especially our high school kids. They'll get a lot out of it!
